After more than 40 years as a trial lawyer I am leaving the practice of law. I will not be accepting any new cases and am closing my firm Kenneth M. Levine and Associates.
It has been the greatest honor of my life to represent and fight for you and your children. I leave the practice of law knowing I did my very best to help repair lives and families affected by medical errors. Most often we were on the right side but even when we lost, we went down giving every bit of fight we had.
I have met the most wonderful people on my journey from all across the country. I consider so many of you to be life-long friends. You have all taught me so much about love, family and resilience in the face of adversity. I have seen magnificent parts of this country and experienced regional cultures that opened my eyes and allowed me to see wonder and beauty in places I never imagined. I am better person for all of it.
It has been an honor and a privilege to engage and learn from the finest physicians in the country and the world. I thank all of them for their patience and kindness teaching me medicine. Also, for having the courage and backbone to step up and testify in court when they felt the medical facts called for it.
If you have a medical question, in particular about obstetrical brachial plexus injury I would be pleased to speak with you. I am no longer practicing law and cannot take your case, but I will do my best to answer medical questions. If you have a legal question or need representation, I suggest you contact Attorney Marlie Willer at the firm Liro | Willer.
Although I am no longer practicing law, I do intend to continue my work as a screen writer and legal consultant for films, movies and television. It has been interesting and rewarding to work with some of the finest writers, directors and studios. Movie sets are magical places. My most recent work on the film Pieces of a Woman was very gratifying and I look forward to more screen writing and consulting opportunities. For media, film and production inquiries I can be contacted at the number and email provided below.
Thank you to all that taught me, helped me, supported me, believed in me, challenged me, allowed me into your lives and were always there when I needed you. Now it’s time to go play with the grandchildren.
